Does all patriotism inherently have to serve the Cock’s interests?

I’m super, super proud that we get to call people like MLK or Malcolm X or Lincoln or Douglass or Susan B. Anthony or even Obama Americans — but at the same time I’m super ashamed of this country’s white, patriarchal track record of oppression.

I’m not patriotic in the sense that I feel it my duty to ‘suck the Cock,’ as you put it, but (I’d at least like to hope!) that the love I feel for all the abolitionists, feminists, civil, gay, and trans rights activists who came before me and the progress we’ve made in the last 200 years is in its own way a certain kind of patriotism.

I love America, just not the cocky parts!
