I’m with you 100%. That’s why I said:

corporations didn’t start divesting by osmosis. They received a lot of domestic and international pressure to do something. That’s when they started to remove their dollars.

You are right. Institutions have to be held accountable. They don’t do it by themselves. Following that point, I think that in the case of BlackLivesMatter, there could be more pressure being leveraged to hold private institutions accountable, than what protesters are doing right now.
