Another way to do this with clothes is to not wear the same outfit every day, but pick only a few colors so your decisions are limited that way. If you want to keep the breadth of wardrobe you can do what I do. Pick out your clothes the night before. Using that tiny bit of unspent decision power at the end of the day makes your morning decision free and you start your day with a full decision energy bank. (You can also do the same with food by packing your lunch the night before and setting out the stuff you’re going to eat for Breakfast).
