What You Can Do With a Pineapple

The idea is definitely unconventional, but creativity is key. When given an assignment to photograph ANYTHING, more options make it more difficult. The random pineapple in my kitchen though, was the perfect subject. At first, it was difficult to come up with any ideas other than top and bottom angles, but then the ideas came flowing. Different lighting, different objects — whatever it may be, the creativity with this is endless. It was certainly challenging to be creative with something so small, but it taught me how to use my imagination to its fullest. It may seem pointless to have a photoshoot with a pineapple, but it was really exciting to come up with creative ways to showcase it. Doing a project like this can spark ideas for other shoots.
