Reader Analytics at the World’s Biggest Book Fair

Reader analytics will be a big topic at Frankfurt Book Fair this year . There are at least four events looking into how authors and publishers can now collect reading data and put it to use:

a. “Reader Analytics — auf der Spur der Leser” (Reader Analytics — on the trail of readers) Wednesday 19/10/16 at 10 a.m. Hall 4.1 D88 with Leander Wattig from Orbanism

b. “The Transparent Reader — Get to Know Your Consumer” (with Porter Anderson at the Business Club) Friday 21/10/16 at 10 a.m. Hall 4 BC

c. “Den Leser Lesen — Reader Analytics in der Buchbranche” (Reading the Reader — Reader Analytics in the Book Industry) a panel discussion organised by Mario Como from Börsenverein, Saturday 22/10/16 at 10 a.m. Hall 4.2 N99, featuring Michael Doeschner (Droemer Kaur), Susanna Ernst (author), Matthias Ulmer (Ulmer Verlag) — moderated by Michael Rösler-Graichen (Börsenblatt)

d. “New Techniques and Approaches for Reader Engagement” Saturday 22/20/16 Hall 6.0 E11 with Porter Anderson at the Publishing Perspectives stage:
