God Does Not Sit Still
An exegesis on the theological message of Eve and the Fall
God has fashioned woman, so that man may come to integrate his uniqueness among the lower animals of the earth. Adam was created on the sixth day as the highest within the animal kingdom. Adam names the animals, but does not meet his consort, and finds himself lonely.
God sympathizes, and thus out of his ribs, creates woman, and brings her to him. She is to become his fitting helper, and between the pair, free will can be exercised so long as their temptations are within the divine will of God.
The pair are given mastery over the kingdom. There is no existence of primordial evil; man is the creator of his own evil through maleficent, immoral deeds.
This article will examine the hidden message within the creation of Eve, and why the Fall came to be shortly after Eve had been gifted to Adam as his fitting helper. Examining the text in Be-re’shit/Genesis 3, 1–7, it is possible that God was not ready to eternally rest, and instead used Eve as the great exodus of man from heavenly earth, so that God could have his highest animal perform his highest functions-good and evil.
