As an artist myself, I’m not sure I like crowdfunding. I just don’t think it’s the fans’ responsibility. Fans already buy our albums and come to our shows and wear our t-shirts and on and on. How much more do we artists possibly want from them? Must we bleed them dry monetarily? I understand the reasons artists might need crowdfunding (stingy labels, etc), but I just feel that there are other options.
