You are a GD hero. I had the same intention by buying this couch. Upgrading to adult furniture, or so I thought. I bought this couch a month ago and regretted almost instantly when it arrived and wanted my Ikea couch back that I had sold. It’s SO light that it moves anytime you touch or sit on it and is scratching up my floor. Then I noticed that the buttons were already loose after having it for a week. I’m so bummed because I researched couches for 2 months and was frustrated that West Elm doesn’t have reviews for customers on their site but put my faith in their brand instead. But after reading your article, I’m seeing if I can return it for a refund.
