Preface for Sharing about the New Earth (poem)

I have been trying to write a post
a message of hope
Because my home state is on fire (again)
And I’m getting pictures that say “the sky looks like the apocalypse”
And I am sober, lucid, brimming with compassion
But understanding what is happening.
There are those who do not understand what is happening.
To them, it is strange and terrifying
To me, it makes sense
Because I have been reading about the Hopi prophecies
I have known the Mayan calendar in 2012 marked the end of an era
I have been waiting for humanity to catch up
To awaken to their divinity
To open their hearts —
But now I understand. I am not to sit on the sidelines
as Earth Angels struggle to Remember
Who they are | What they came for
I am to stand tall as God made me and share:
“Hear my truth. Weigh it upon the trustworthy scale of your own heart.
Discern if it is your truth. And if it is —
come build a New Earth with me.”
