Daily Nudge of Hugs

Hugs and kisses.

I think that’s how you transform yourself to become a more “substantial” you. Human mind has been proven to react more on a basis of daily, nudging approach on a certain feeling and/or activity, making it more prone to improve and change when the action is done continously. SometimeS, deeply ingrained actions that impacted your feelings can last really long, creating an overwhelmingly unbearable but beautiful emotional moment at the same time.

Catch my idea? If you do not realize, I’m talking about the power of love and how it can change you.

Why talking about this? Isn’t it so common that even a young kid understand its importance? Or, as some people maybe yawningly complained, this is “already stale topic”?

To answer this, we need to take a look at the history. As right now, many people believe that “Black Lives Matter” is a solid political expression. The condition wasn’t the same for all the blacks who picked cotton and getting whipped for a living, or getting raped and told to be thankful that they didn’t get ironed instead. Many of them didn’t have anything; laws are really discriminatory, society moans and jerked away when they were near them, books and education were blocked from their thirsty minds of enlighment. Instead, they were being indoctrinated that their birth skin color is their verification of everlasting condemnation, rendered them useless.

What stopped the gruesome act?

A simple act of love. The abolitionist: a free black man called Frederick Douglas and some white supporters such as William Garrison and Harriet Stowe marched to gather allies and stop the slavery. If logic trumps emotions, was it a wise actions for the white supporters to support the slavery? Even if their supremacy standing was higher than the other races?

The answer can be found on the resulr of that movement; an equal opportunity for everyone to love all the people without pride and prejudice. Many people wants to hug the body of other races, but society didn’t give them a chance, so they campaigned against it and, eventually, hugs them with love.

Love can break boundaries. It can turn the sturdiest man into a jellyfish. It can also transform the society to become a safe environment for many races to stand equally without judgement from others. It opened a way for a pure hearted black boy to smile at the white girl gardener next door, and to expect that the girl will smile back.

That’s why a reminder is so important these days. I can say thay many people are fueled and raged by news from BBC or CNN that depicts an abundant racism, sexism, religion-based hatred and opinionated political sarcasm that permeates everyone’s judgement; people simply hates each other.

A remider is so needed, even if its so rhethoric and overused; it describes humanity and the importance that comes from the idea. An alzheimer person will still remember the love to his husband even in the later stage of sickness. Reminding a girlfriend to drink a lot everyday makes the boyfriend irreplaceable in the girls’ heart. Daily nudging is all that is needed.

To make people know that Earth is a lovable place to live with.
