While I agree that Kotlin has a few advantages over Java, readabilty being number one, I doubt that this should be the primary language for applications where performance and reliability are the major concerns.

I disagree that Kotlin code is readable, especially for programmer’s who are inexperienced, short code is not necessarily good, sometimes code which is longer but readable is what we need.

My major concern is that this language is not supported by Jack and Jill compiler and thus becomes a pain to maintain, besides there is a big problem that it compiles slowly.
