30 Days of Daily UI Challenges

Working in a rapidly growing startup with teams around the world, I got surrounded by best-talented designers. I’m very grateful for being a UI/UX designer at AccelByte. It makes me feel challenged, but also inferior at the same time. I often feel insecure and afraid that I can’t be as good as them, great designers here. Even though people around me said that I am just a great designer, it still becomes my anxiety.

But rather than overthink my anxiety, I always find a way to deal with it. I remember that I also ever feel insecure with my illustration skill and want to improve it. At that time, I got inspired from 100 days of vector illustrations by Tiantian Xu, I did the same challenge but only for 30 days and upload it on my second Instagram account.

Then I found this daily UI challenge and plan to do it for 30 days just like I did the illustration challenge. But I have lost my access to my account, so I post it on my Twitter account and make it a thread. You can see the thread here. Of course, I want to post it every single day, but it’s very difficult when you also have a main job, so I only do it during my free time.

I’m using Figma for the design tools since it free and we’re using it also in the office. And here they are the result:

Actually, after finishing this challenge, I’m still feeling insecure. But at least, I can improve my UI design skills. After all, I’m still taking the positive side of this insecurity. Moreover, isn’t it the real meaning of life? to make ourselves continue to learn and learn more and become a better person every day.

Since it’s my first post, I know that I still need a lot to improve my writing skills. So, feel free o put any suggestion or comment that can help me to learn. 😊
