The winter is at the peak and we went out today to Lake Lyndon in Canterbury. Here are some photos from our Nature photowalk:

Lake Lyndon

This is a view of the Lake as we walked past the gorse and went on our walk.

The lake was frozen, and you can see a small sugarloaf shaped peak in the distance.

Frozen lake

We kept on walking and the frozen lake rewarded us with the views of the hills on the other side of the Lake.

Hills on the way to Arthur’s Pass

Here you see the view of the hills on the way to Arthur’s Pass, a mountain village with waterfalls and walks.
