Life is like a cloud
Beautiful and inspiring
Viewed from the distance
With detachment
Yet as soon as we try
To imprison it
In selfish jars of attachment
It’s beauty is no more
it’s mystery dissolves
even as a cloud fades
When touched by our cold damp hands
