I came across the term “Imposter Syndrome” an year and a half or so into my first job. I was really happy to realize that it was a thing and it wasn’t just me. Though I have read a little bit about the subject, reading this article gave me a lot more insight into subject, and more over how to over come it.

I have to admit that I have a poor memory and may not remember all that I have read, but I am sure I will keep 2 points in mind:

1. The graph that shows what you know vs what you think others know. I thought it is spot on.
2. Picking up something and practicing it, Regularly. From a software engineering perspective I think open source technologies is a really great venue.
