I do agree on the direction of the “compensatory” vector, however, it is extremely hard to quantify (or even qualify) and hence conclusively analyze and predict the value of such compensation. Something tell me that the level of willpower, for example, can be as genetically predetermined (and yet capable of improvement) as for example the 40-yard dash speed.

Yes you can always do more, but it is not necessary a direct driver for the end result.

But I can’t attempt to argue the “in my case” and “by my own estimate” statements. They are 100% correct and subjective.
