Exciting Updates from Arker

Introduction

As many of you know, we at Arker have worked passionately to deliver a high quality experience on both 2D and 3D gaming formats. This year we are taking every opportunity to showcase our project and expand our visibility to a wider audience of gamers and investors. With an aggressive marketing campaign in place, we are confident that this will significantly benefit the project in a number ways. Some of the actions we have already shared with the community include a full redesigned website, a new exchange listing, multiple collaborations with KOL and the establishment of partnerships with other projects and chains, all of which will surely contribute to the success of the project.

Token Overview

Arker: The legend of Ohm is currently supported by two tokens: FoA token, designed for in-game use, purchase of items, cards, tickets, loot boxes, etc., and also for pet breeding; and ARKER token, used for pet purchase, breeding and governance of the project.

This has worked this way for a while now, but it is time to simplify and improve the utility of the tokens in the Arker world.

Redefining Focus

When we designed the tokenomics for Arker we wanted to differentiate the in-game token with FoA from the on-chain with ARKER, however this approach has not delivered the long-term impact that we expected when designed this for the ecosystem.

As Arker is and will be a long-term project, we have decided to make a major change to ensure the longevity of the project by removing the FoA token permanently and focusing the entire project on ARKER, making sure it gets the attention it deserves.

Token Transition

The process will be quick, easy and free for all the players and holders. Users do not need to take any action, everything will be done automatically in different steps in a safe and automatic way.

The process will be implemented according this steps:

1. A snapshot of the FoA on-chain holders has been made. No changes to FoA balances after this will be considered.
2. In a few days there will be an airdrop of the ARKER token to all FoA holders, for an equivalent value of 1:1 in dollars. For example: If a user has 10$ in FoA, he will receive 10$ in ARKER.
3. In a few days, all FoA in-game balances will be converted to ARKER balances automatically.
4. All use cases where FoA was required will be conducted in the same way with ARKER from now on.
5. All the effort that was dedicated to FoA until now will be transferred to ARKER, which will now receive 100% of our focus, marketing campaigns and use cases.
6. The Arkers that will be used to make the swap from Arker to Foa will be purchased by the team, so the tokenomics will not be affected.

FAQ

We understand that, even reading the article, you probably have some questions and we are here to answer:

1. What will happen to my in-game FoA tokens? We will conduct a swap of your in-game FoA tokens for ARKER tokens. ARKER will be the new in-game token with the same functionalities that FoA had until now.
2. What will happen to my on-chain FoA tokens? An ARKER token airdrop will be distributed to all FoA token holders for an equivalent value of 1:1 in dollars.
3. When will be the snapshot for the airdrop? Already done.
4. Will there be a token burn for ARKER tokens? Yes, a portion of the fees collected in ARKER will be burned, the same way it was designed with FoA.
5. How will breeding work from this point on? From now on, breeding will only be done with Arker tokens and the FoA token will no longer be necessary.
