Hello Arkerians!

It’s already been more than 3 weeks since the beta release of Arker: The legend of Ohm.

We have been reviewing all the feedback that the community has given us and that led us to solve a large number of bugs and glitches. Most of them are already fixed, and the rest will be fixed soon, this will allow us to release the stable version and start the bigger marketing campaigns.

Another quite recurrent feedback has been about the clans and other unfair strategies that some players were following, this post is to announce the solutions to all these problems:

New requirements for joining/creating a clan

As you already know PVE battles doesn’t modify the user’s ELO and neither the clan’s ELO, only the PVP battles does, which require at least 2 pets.

So, if a user is holding less that two pets doesn’t help the clan in any way, for this reason we decided that for creating or joining a clan accounts will need to hold at least two pets.

ELO requirements for clans

Clans are meant to play together, join forces and help each other.

From now on clans will only be elegible for competitive mode (ELO, ranking, prizes, etc) when they have 5 or more members.
If someone leaves your clan and now there are only 4 members, your ELO will stay the same, but you will need to find a new member before the inactivity penalties kicks in (See next point).

Inactivity Penalties and ELO resets

In Arker, seasons will begin to be applied after the beta, this means that in each new season the ELO of the players will be reset. Winners of each season will have special perks like items, skins, etc

On the other hand, Clans are a bit different, those are the ones who will keep fighting for the Ohm’s control, that means that clans needs to stay active.

We seen a lot of clans reaching a high score and then stop playing, you need to keep fighting to defend your Ohm position.
Thats why clans will start decreasing their ELO automatically, everyday at the same time that the PVE stamina resets (2 AM UTC), the game will check if the clan has made at least 5 PVP battles that day (any member of the clan can play PVP to increase that count) , if not, the clan will lose 2% of their ELO points.

If a clan has less than 5 members they will lose 2% of their ELO everyday.

Cooldown for pet transfers

We been seen a lot of players transferring pets from one account to another to gain some benefits from the two pet requirement.

Thats why we will start applying cooldown for 72 hours after a pet transfer.

That means if you transfer a pet to another account you will need to wait three days until this pet counts for the two pet requirement and also for equipping it.

If you buy a pet directly from the marketplace the cooldown will not be applied.

Multi-accounts forbidden

With this new changes to the competitive gaming, multi-accounts can benefit unfairly to some players.

So from now on players can only have one account per person.

Those changes will start being applied gradually on the next days.

The 24th of February we will be restarting all the ELO from the Clans and extend the period for the 10k$ reward until the 15th of March.

Conclusion

Probably, most of you are wondering why are these changes coming now. The Beta that you have been playing act as, precisely, to appreciate and improve all aspects of the game, the mechanics and the players themselves. Not only the bugs and glitches, but also the existing imbalances in the systems adopted so far (such are the Guilds).

These changes arise more to some than to others in the short term, but it has been thought to be as fair as possible with everyone, thus giving opportunities to those who do not have them and creating a much more competitive environment (if it were possible!).

Arker Team is always at your disposal, that’s why we’re listen your proposals and advices, trying to adapt it to the game and listening to the community whenever is possible. So don’t stop beating the zombies in the PVE and making your opponents sweat in the PVP, because this adventure has just begun and you are the main protagonist of it.

See you on the battlefields of Ohm!
