House relocation is a lot of work, so having some cleaning, packing, and preparation hints and tips, is a need. The best way to have a stress-free moving is by making it well organized and not dreading. Moving is a process, so it’s better if you allot enough time for the planning before your move.Let’s get started with some organizing tips before packing:

Organizing:

1. Make A List Write down all the things that you will take and you won’t need. Take all the things that you think are essential for your move, you can also do a simple backyard sale to earn some money for the things that you won’t use anymore. If you want a more detailed list, you can make your own inventory to know how much things are you moving and to estimate the money that you will shell out. 2. Take Everything Out This is a way to know the amount of stuff that you have, you can start sorting out from there. 3. Make a Pile Sort your things by separating what you will and will not keep, then make different piles for the stuff that you will donate, sell, and recycle. Be careful in sorting things, do not donate unusable cloths or items. 4. Organize your Boxes and Bins Label your boxes and bins to prevent confusion when sorting your stuff. Using same sizes of bins and boxes will make truck loading easier and faster. 5. Prepare Your Packing Materials Arrange your packing materials before the day of packing, buy spare boxes to make sure that you won’t run out of storage for all your stuff. After organizing your things, it’s now time to pack.

Packing:

1. Bubble wrap Prevent your things from damages by securing them with bubble wrap. Make sure to place the bubble wrap inward to hold your things in place. Put a masking tape or sticker on your bubble wrap to have a space to write on, bubble wrap is hard to see through. 2. Cotton Pad or Ball Your cosmetic organizer can be a little shaky during your move. If you are someone who fancy make up, better put some cotton pads or balls on your powders and eye shadows to prevent them from cracking. 3. Wrap the Opening of Toiletries Prevent your toiletries from leaking during your move by wrapping a plastic around each bottle’s mouth. 4. Labeled Bag for Screws Be cautious when packing the screws of your furniture, get a zip lock or a container and label them properly. This will prevent you from losing and mixing the screws. 5. Plastic Wrap Instead of unloading your drawers and containers, just use a plastic wrap to keep your things in place, it will make you save some time for packing and will make it easier for you to unpack after your move. There are things that you need to keep in mind on the day of your move to prevent delays and unnecessary waste of time. 1. Leave it to the RemovalistsWhen moving, remember that you need to leave other things to the professionals. Do not carry fragile or heavy furniture, let the removalists lift it for you with proper use of moving equipment. 2. Moving Day BagOn the day of your move, prepare a moving day kit with your essentials. A moving day kit is accessible in case you need it, this will prevent you from digging on your boxes. 3. Clear your Parking/Driveway

Make sure that your driveway or parking is not going to interrupt your move, remove unnecessary things that will block your path. Your removalist’s truck will have an easier access on your things, and will definitely make you save time.
