The women who refused to stay,
The Women Who Won’t Stay Silent
Ozzy Etomi

This is so powerful. It makes me think and reflect. I am the lone male working around all women and we work to help get women treated who are suffering from obstetric fistula. These women are all resilient and brave; they refuse to stay. They are tenacious fighters in the constant struggle to be seen, heard, respected and treated as equals. I am in perpetual awe of their power and the power of all women who are essentially born into a world where their whole life is a very real and in many cases a dangerous struggle. Thank you Ms. Ozzy for this beautiful post!
