J. Warner Wallace shares how he used his homicide investigation skills to determine if the gospels are a reliable account of the life of Jesus.
Here is his story:
The beginning
His wife was raised as a cultural Catholic and had been together for 18 years. Attending church was not a common occurrence.
One day after 3 years of not going, his wife asked him to go.
They went to a church in California, although James didn’t want to go to that one because “it’s like a circus,” but since they had been asked by a friend they went.
James shares his impression of the pastor.
“The pastor there is really good at this one thing, he’s good at a lot of things, but this one thing he’s great at.
Pitching Jesus in a way that atheists can’t catch him.”
