Hi Luis, I don’t really agree with you on this topic. Sure, it is a possible future, but I don’t think that it would happen soon. Your example that you used, relies too much on a whole bunch of assumptions. Lets take secretaries as an example — I work for a company that still has well over a 100 secretaries and they still serve a very important role here. In fact; we’d struggle without them.

Secondly, allowing an AI to make choices for you, won’t happen soon either. Autonomous cars is a great example of this. The initial conversion rate of fully autonomous cars would be extremely low, and most people won’t trust how the AI chooses to drive. That’s why most car companies only uses supplementary AI to assist the driver. And besides, even if it happens soon, it won’t work in a very large part of the world, where Africa would be the most difficult to penetrate.

In order for the world to reach the stage that you’re referring to, you’re going to need much, much more CX and UX people to fulfill that dream. But for now, that’s just a pie in the sky.
