Travis van der Font, thanks for the response! To address your concerns: We are using voter data for now. Voter data is current as of each election cycle- you cannot vote unless you have a current address and contact information. As of 2016, there were over 200 million people in the US who were registered to vote. Moreover, if we were to add information from property taxes, which are paid every year by the owner of a property, we would certainly do even better, far above and beyond just compensating for stale voter data.

We were also surprised to learn that many countries, such as Italy, have public voter record laws as well. While some nations (such as the UK) do have stringent privacy regulations, others will not protect against this sort of reidentification.
