I am coming to the conclusion that we simply can’t rely on corporations to produce and maintain great, reliable, human-centered software. The systems and incentives are in direct conflict.
Anti-capitalist human scale software (and why it matters)

100% correct. Human-centered software will result from the efforts of entrepreneurs, not existing corporations. This is due to the unfortunate condition that corporations limit themselves to a single goal, which creates the aforementioned conflict. That goal being the financial return to investors (we all know what it is). Nothing human-centered will ever come from such a limitation. The only hope for human-centered anything is in the hands of non-corporate entities to manifest. Good luck everyone!
