100% correct. Human-centered software will result from the efforts of entrepreneurs, not existing corporations. This is due to the unfortunate condition that corporations limit themselves to a single goal, which creates the aforementioned conflict. That goal being the financial return to investors (we all know what it is). Nothing human-centered will ever come from such a limitation.
