8 Marketing Conferences You Should Attend In 2019
Hello! My name is Arshad Madhani, and I’ve been working in digital marketing for over a decade now. One of the most important things I have learned about marketing is that the landscape is constantly changing. If you want to keep up to date with the latest techniques, attending marketing conferences is a great way to do so. Below, I share eight marketing conferences that I feel may prove immensely beneficial to entrepreneurs of all stripes.
1. Affiliate Summit West (January 6–8)
Taking place in Las Vegas, NV, Affiliate Summit West is an affordable (tickets start at $366) look into the finer points of affiliate marketing. Bloggers, publishers, advertisers, technology companies, and global brands will all be in attendance, creating plenty of valuable networking opportunities. Seminars and a marketplace complete the experience.
2. Digital Summit: Phoenix (February 11–12)
This digital marketing conference in Phoenix, Arizona, includes presentations from individuals affiliated with some of the largest companies in the world, including Microsoft and Cisco. I like Digital Summit Phoenix because recordings of the presentations are included in the price of the event, allowing entrepreneurs to concentrate on networking without missing out on valuable information. Tickets start at just $254 for a Conference Pass.
3. B2B Marketing Exchange (February 25–27)
The B2B Marketing Exchange is an event in Scottsdale, AZ, that provides entrepreneurs in the B2B space with case studies, workshops, and marketing tools to help them get on top of a competitive industry. There’s also plenty of networking opportunities, and tickets start at $895.
4. SearchLove (March 4–5)
SearchLove is an event in San Diego, California, featuring keynote-style presentations on topics such as analytics, SEO, content creation, and other areas of digital marketing. There are also special networking events to help you get to know people in your industry. Tickets start at $999.
5. DigiMarCon East (May 9–10)
DigiMarCon East is an event in New York, New York, with innovative speakers representing a broad array of companies (Disney, Starbucks, etc.). The conference covers virtually everything you need to get started in digital marketing, including SEO, video marketing, data science, and more. I also love the $197 online pass (general admission is $597) that lets entrepreneurs attend online if they can’t make it to the city.
6. Call To Action Conference (June 25–26)
The Call to Action Conference is sponsored by Unbound and takes place on the company’s home turf: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It’s very affordable (two tickets will only run you $600) and very focused on content marketing and calls-to-action, making it a great choice for the entrepreneur on a budget.
7. INBOUND 2019 (September 3–6)
INBOUND is a top-notch digital marketing conference hosted by HubSpot taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, next year. It offers innovative discussions on inbound digital marketing plus a standup comedy show to keep the mood light and engaging. Early bird pricing reduces the cost of admission to just $299 through January 15, so I recommend making your plans now.
8. Content Marketing World (September 3–6)
Content Marketing World bills itself as the largest content marketing event in the world with good reason. Taking place in Cleveland, Ohio, it offers networking opportunities, insightful lectures, and activities such as arcade games and yoga to ensure a memorable experience for all. Pricing information isn’t available yet, but I have a feeling it will be worth it.
