Team Work Vs Individual
The first question that comes to our minds is “ Working in Team is better or we can do every task by own”. According to me, Both have different Importance which may be dependent on Situation as well. But many of times you have to take side of only one term.
First we have to define both terms individually so that we can get in-depth knowledge of what they are?
Team Work : “Team Work is the point where every person is collaborating in the task with there strength”. According to my opinion team work is important in most of the cases because when we work in a team we try to increase the efficiency of the work. We try to give quality product. We try to meet the deadlines. We work for group each other . In simpler word this is the journey of “me to we”
Individual work : “Individual work defines that you are not relying on any other partner and try to do your task on your own”. Although working individual is better approach in many of the cases but we are living in the era where we have to work in the team to increase our quality of work. There are many things that are important to know about team work as well as individual work . Lets take an example of my experience about team work and individual work.
In the past two week me and my amal circle fellows have to collect Edhi Funds individually and in groups as well.
In the first week we are asked to collect the funds individually . According to my experience i faced many difficulties in collecting the funds. The very first difficulty i faced individually is to convince others. This task is very hard because you are alone without any identification of your institute and people think i will ditch him after collecting that funds. 2nd Difficulty that I faced is to manage my time. Many times that i decided to go for collection passed due to laziness. And the funds that i collect from the Individual working is very small in amount.
But now come to other side, In the next week we have to work in group. So our task is more easy this time. Every group member is contributing his part to make the task possible. As we have decided to meet in the PU for fund collection. So Our two members first make a box and paste pictures of Edhi Saab on it so that we can collect by using this. This time around we are able to manage time as well as convincing others is more easy this time. We have a group representation so we doesn’t face many difficulties.
The difficulties in group work are just related to timing conflicts. We have to meet up on this time. Some one says i am not available. Re decide your meeting time.
Conclusion: According to my point of view, Team work is far better than individual work. But we can’t say that individual work is not fruitful. This is also important in many situations.
