How to respond to such self-aggrandizing public relations malarkey. To this day not one governmental security agency has had access to the computer systems used by the DNC. Without direct access there is no way to assess accurately whether those claims are correct.
“American intelligence agencies have told the White House they now have ‘high confidence’ that the Russian government was behind the theft of emails and documents from the Democratic National Committee, according to federal officials who have been briefed on the evidence.” — New York Times, July 26, 2016
That statement should start with 17, as in the claimed seventeen agencies which turned into 4 then 3 and soon will be none. There’s a reason that all the MSM attention has been drawn to Charlottesville and the accusations of racism and nazism. Simply because the whole Russian thing has played itself out and the Democrats needed a new talking point.
They simply got the mayor and governor to have the police stand down while they allowed the anti-fa and BLM brigades, who they knew would show up en masse without permit, to start violent protests against those with permits.
For a solid week we’ve heard nothing about Russia. Soon it’ll be forgotten, swept under the rug, pretended that it never happened and the underlying investigation will morph repeatedly until something, anything, can be found to discredit Trump.
Remember Whitewater? How that investigation lead to Monica? Well this is going to be far worse, in that then there was an actual criminal investigation, complete with an actual crime, not supposition and innuendo like collusion and the supposed FBI investigation which wasn’t, in which the Special Prosecutor had at least a specific legal target. Todays investigation is so wide open, without any specific target or known lawbreaking.
There isn’t any actual knowledge of any purported breach being the result of foreign actors, Russian or otherwise. Again, there’s a multitude of accusations and supposition but absolutely zero evidence supporting the claims of outsider interference. That is a fact. Every one of those accusations stem from the handiwork of Crownstrike, a bought a paid for shill, err, ummm, service of the DNC.
I love how Democrats so often tear down and trash Capitalism, until it serves their purposes and then they treat those greedy bastards like they were the salt of the earth. Why aren’t you questioning the motives of Crowdstrike or for that fact the DNC who refuses to release their computer systems to the governmental agencies you so trust have “high confidence”? Wouldn’t you want those agencies to have “complete knowledge” of Russian theft?
As for climate change; ask yourself one simple question. Why don’t they call it ‘Global Warming’ any more? Why the need to call it ‘Climate Change’? Could it be cover? Could it be that there hasn’t been any “warming” in nearly 2 decades?
Since climate change happens, wether it be naturally or by human cause, any conversation about the climate that attempts to refute the claims made by the extremist allows them to denigrate those people as climate deniers. Of course those who dispute claims of anthropogenic change aren’t claiming that the climate isn’t changing, only that humans aren’t the primary cause. They most certainly aren’t claiming that the climate isn’t changing, only the cause of said change. Yet they are called climate deniers; as if they claim that climate doesn’t exist at all.
Worst of all the above, is that the understanding of the totality of the climate and the ability to model for or make future predictions is so far beyond the scope of our current abilities, is that this incomplete understanding will make perfect cover for all sorts of governmental interventions and involvement for years on end.
Unlike the Russian narrative, whose shelf life is nearly over, the climate debate can run for several more decades before being discovered as a mere political ploy to extract financial resources and increase governmental power. Enjoy having your science used for something as base as political expediency. Some guys just never learn when they’re being lied to, or used as useful idiots in someone else’s cause.
