Good article, thanks. I could not agree more with your stated goals, but in my view your methods are exactly wrong. Obfuscating your data set by strategically sharding it across multiple unconnected services makes your personal data corpus less useful to YOU, which is as bad as giving it all to one stranger (e.g., Google). I’d argue that the real solution is to keep it all for yourself and not share it with anyone you don’t explicitly choose to.
