Thanks for this. We have a friend who was in the same terminal, hidden in a stall in a womens’ room w/four other women. She too heard what she is convinced were shots (I appreciate you’re leaving that ambiguous), and like you she heard them AFTER everyone was already running. So has anyone given any sort of explanation of what started this? Was there some precipitating event or did someone just panic and it spread? That seems very important to know. Also the complete failure of any kind of crowd management — everyone just frozen by their ignorence of what was going on. Truly disturbing.
