With the continued growth and popularity of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, governments all over the world know that new regulations need to be in place in order to ensure that all users can operate in a safe, legal environment.

As such, many financial regulatory bodies in many countries all around the world are working hard to establish fresh frameworks that will regulate the ever-changing cryptocurrency market and ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings).

ICOs are one of the best ways to find funding for many companies, especially startups like Horizon Communications. Many ICOs were launched with sound and progressive solutions with the help from blockchain technology, which paves the way for new innovations. Regrettably, the reputation was tarnished by some ICOs that engaged in scams that led to distrust by interested investors. To prevent such unfortunate and undesirable incidents from occurring in the future, governments have taken a sterner stance towards ICOs.

Although this is unfortunate news for everyone involved, we feel that this is growing pain in the market, as investors become more savvy as they research what makes an ICO viable to make sure their interests are protected and bad actors are removed from the marketplace. To that end, we may see a sharp increase in investors confidence over the use of ICOs, which is a great news for all investors interested in ICOs.

On the other hand, the legitimate companies that seek investments through ICOs have nothing to fear, as it only legitimizes the company’s honest intention further. This, in turn, is not unwelcome news for us at Horizon. At Horizon, the goal is to bring wireless telecommunication to where it is needed most.

As we launch in Bermuda, where the government is also placing additional regulations to protect cryptocurrency-based businesses, Horizon will be headquartered in a country know worldwide as one of the best places to do business.

Horizon Communications is an upcoming fixed wireless internet service provider looking to provide services in Bermuda, the Caribbean and Central America before expanding internationally. While utilizing 4th generation and soon 5th generation wireless technology, it will also heavily incorporate blockchain and cryptocurrency technology, one of the 1st ISP’s in the world to do so, while launching an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) as a part of their capital raise and blockchain integration.
