Dear ArtMeta Community,
As we are moving towards a full calendar ahead, we wanted to recount the remarkable turnout at our event during NFT LA. The exclusive event held at the renowned Night Gallery in DTLA, featured three limited NFT miniseries, released by ArtMeta on behalf of artist Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack. An evening filled with art, friends, fans, community, and NFTs; the experience was made extra special with several live performances by Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack himself.
As we continue to construct our metaverse, it will be events like these that will extend our network within the art community. Through this continued engagement of both the fine art world and the expanding crypto universe, we aim to continually demonstrate the power of blockchain technology.
The NFT collection that took center stage was the seven digitized pieces from Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack’s sculpture, ‘Tell-A-Lie-Vison’, 2019. This limited collection of seven 1-of-1 NFTs was displayed on seven televisions throughout the gallery during the event. Accompanying this series were the 22 identical NFTs digitized from one of Daniel’s other sculptures, ‘Chair For a Powerful Painter’, 2022. Both collections first made their sale debut to our IDO community and were later released to the public during the event.
The evening met several crescendos with the live performances by Daniel himself. The performances, which unfolded in three acts, engaged various art pieces in his exhibition. This series of engaging performances took place over the course of the evening and engaged all of the pieces currently on display at Night Gallery.
Upon the sale of the three NFT collections, the physical sculptures that the NFTs are based on will be donated to publicly accessible art institutions. This cultural contribution is made possible by the collective purchase of every individual and every owner of one of these NFTs is an owner of the sculpture itself. The destination of the sculptures will be announced in the months to come.
Beyond the evening’s festivities, we would like to congratulate the IDO community winners from the ArtMeta x Night Gallery NFT giveaway. We hope you enjoy your NFTs and we thank you for participating in the opportunity to own one of these limited pieces. Please be reminded that everyone who owns one of the 114 NFTs of ‘Corpus #3’, and whoever purchased one of Daniel’s other limited NFT miniseries from the ArtMeta x Night Gallery Collections, you are invited to attend an exclusive ArtMeta AMA.
Please join us on the ArtMeta Discord server for this exclusive AMA with Daniel T. Gaitor-Lomack, Night Gallery owner Davida Nemeroff as well as ArtMeta’s CEO Roger Haas. During this AMA the community will be encouraged to discuss Daniel’s work, fine art, NFTs, the creative process and the future of digital art. These AMAs will be held on April 30th and May 7th, at 10AM PST.
We would also like to thank everyone who shared this special evening with us. Your presence and enthusiasm around the collection truly made the experience a memorable one. We would also like to thank Night Gallery for their consistent collaboration with us and for hosting such a magical evening in their incredible space.
Finally, we would like to thank our partners at TrustSwap, Swappable and Alpha Praetorian Capital for making the night possible.
As the summer approaches, and NFT LA is behind us, we are looking forward to our next event. This coming June we will be attending Art Basel in Basel, Switzerland. Our development team has been hard at work and we are eager to premier the first functional demo of the art metaverse this June. We are excited to share more of what we have planned for this coming fair, and the many amazing giveaways and special offers in store for our IDO community.
Best,
ArtMeta Team
