After watching this TedTalk video featuring architect Michael Pawlyn, he speaks of innovative ideas about applying things from our geographical nature to build a new world of sustainable beauty.

I have taken a few notes while viewing this, which is below.

Interesting Facts:

  • Examples of insects’s senses significant to its survival, such as the detection of a forest fire from a distance.
  • BIOMIMICRY
  • Change from linear model to a closed loop model.
  • Resource efficiency — for example the Eden Project
  • The use of cardboard, recycling, and then ends up with caviar that is sold back to the restaurants that gave away their cardboard.
  • Restaurant in Amsterdam that uses energy from microorganisms and plants
  • Greenhouses that face the wind

This video was interesting, because it shows the examples of the sustainability revolution progress and concepts. Those inventions will have a potential to make the planet and environment more better and safer.
