McKenna’s HW: Is Love Real? — another look on Abusive Relationships

After watching that video, I learned that not only love can exist in relationships. Abuse is one huge portion of a poisonous relationship. Women and men should never be acting like scared animals when their partner comes home. Abuse is a horrible thing and people need to realize the line between love and abuse.

In the video, it discusses about how people handle abusive relationships. They feel obligated to just stay put and suffer through this. Everything will be okay. No. It is not the right thing for anyone to suffer through this. People should not sit there and expect love to come back. There is absolutely no way, even in forgiveness, that things will change. Abuse is abuse. Being yelled at, being negatively treated, is not a way to live. Even though there is a factor of love in the relationship, it is not right to stay.
