The one thing one could say about Salem is that it was the last ever witch trial where supposed witches were actually killed or perished in prison. The witch burning was wide spread and common in Europe prior to this, and basically started with the Malleus Maleficarum of 1487. To write something like your essay, one should do proper research, so if I had to grade this as a paper, it would be a fail.
