Here’s the conundrum. This poem works. I regard it as an avant garde and somewhat abstract bit of literature. I’ve read it numerous times at salons and readings and I always get a big laugh. To my mind, the poem is both sexy and sacred, not that there’s a difference between those two things. For sheer playfulness it can’t be beat. I love it. Try speaking it out loud.

It’s not my best photo. It is what it is, i.e. my most recent photo of night sky with landscape. It was 40 degrees fahrenheit and the wind was blowing at 40 mph. That made it so cold! The wind prevented the camera from staying still. I hope to try it again on a more hospitable night. The sky was clear except for faint wispy clouds high in the atmosphere.
