It’s less of an “into the wild” situation and more of a skewed work-life balance. Practically speaking, running after money isn’t a bad thing at all at this time and age. It’ll give you more ambition and get you going places. Your employability, your ability to find a job, is what will help you eat and pay rent and afford Starbucks.
I’m not questioning that at all nor suggesting we should all quit our jobs and travel. It’s just the dynamics of our day jobs: they should play a part in our daily lives, not become life itself.
