Thanks for sharing this Dov! I agree that compliance does not necessarily equate to belief. We can do all we can to train and teach our values to our charges or children. But at the end of the day, what matters is how we relate to them. They are not us and often, their problems and issues are far roved from ours. But we ought to show them that we are with them and will be always with them and have their backs. When we can relate to then regardless of who they are or what they have become, we have made the connection that is meaningful and true and real. Thanks for this post Dov!
