Why poor students will always be behind
Mikala Streeter

Thanks for this honest and well-observed sharing. The education experience should be available in different formats and there can no longer be a one-size-fits-all mentality. Keeping up with the Joneses cannot work as long as the Joneses are in turn keeping up with the next new rich kid on the block and so the benchmark keeps shifting.

Aspirations and hard economic realities have to be taken into account in the new educational landscape, as well as the fact that our higher standards of living and our wage increases don’t go together hand in hand.

So for the students of the future, the educational journey must be more than a career path. It has to be a roadmap that comes with its own aptitudinal GPS to guide each student along varied career paths until they reach the career destination they are suited for.
