I sat there disappointed on the rock thinking about how far we are from each other, yet how close we are in our hearts. The lush greenery reminded me of your face gleaming with happiness. The cool breeze reminded me of those cold little hands with which you touched my face. The smell of the earth reminded me of all the beautiful aromas around you. The sound of the birds reminded me of your soothing voice. The curved pathways to the falls reminded me of the beauty within you. The sheer force of the falls reminded me of the passionate mad love we share. The rainbow with seven colors over the falls reminded me of all the intense emotions between us. I could see you in everything that mother nature had laid around me, yet I was disappointed. I was disappointed that my soul is miles away with you ticking in your heart like a clock. I was disappointed 'cause I wanted to hold your hand and walk around that pathway, smell that beautiful aroma, enjoy that lush greenery and feel that cool breeze. I sat there disappointed wishing that you were here with tears rolling down my eyes. Mother nature could sense everything, with a slight drizzle around the falls hiding my tears, she told me to hold on to you, to hold on tight.
