Why “Follow your passion" is a redundant advice?

As instead of helping us in any way, it leaves us more frustrated and helpless in the face of having no passion in the first place to follow.

We start rummaging our minds to find that hidden spark of passion lying somewhere, but to no success.

Develop your passion !

Passion is not a dish served to us.
We need to cook it!!

Passion ≠ Interest

Rather it is an interest that has deepened through effort, constant practice, overcoming challenges, building skill set and a bigger purpose than yourself.

Passion grows in the process of its own development.

The process begins with just a Date (interest) but ends in a life long committed relationship (Passion).It takes both time and effort to build it.
