To go and badmouth something like WordPress which is being used by millions of people is just a bad strategy. I tried prisimic awhile ago and found it to be a reasonably good software but to go and brag that they are solution for all WordPress’ issues is an overkill. The popularity of WordPress comes from its flexibility/versatility, the same plugins that the article bashes as a problem child is a boon for many. You don’t have to go to the devs everytime you need a small bump in functionality and that it can be achieved in matter of mins via plugins is such a huge uptick in productivity. Of course WordPress is ageing and it needs an overhaul to be relevant for the modern web. Btw WP is 13 years old now (not 10 as stated in the article).

The article could have been written with little bit more of research and focus on some specific usecases where prisimic can outshine WP.
