Harees, a common healthy Arab food, which is usually cooked with chopped wheat, oil or butter, and other spices. It is one of the most popular and traditional dishes in UAE, Lebanon, Tanzania, Morocco, Libya, Algeria, and other Middle Eastern countries. In terms of nutrition, Harees is used to building strength in the body, especially to relieve weakness after illness and help boost the immune system. Harees with unique Lahori recipe is here!

Today we have brought a new delicious recipe for Harees which is very popular in Lahore, Pakistan, and served in the morning at breakfast in the morning.

Selected ingredients for Harees

boiled wheat 250 grams

spinach steamed 1 cup

Yogurt 250 grams

Cumin 2 tablespoon

green chilies 50grams

turmeric Half a teaspoon

Salt to taste

Lick spices half a spoon

Garam Masala spices Half a teaspoon of

chicken Half Kilogram

Green coriander to taste

Green mint to taste

Ingredients of Kebab for Harees

Beef mince 250g

Onion 1

green chillies 50 grams

Salt to taste

cumin 1 tablespoon

red pepper 1 teaspoon

garlic paste Half teaspoon

ginger paste Half teaspoon

Let’s make kababs for everyone

First take green chilies, onion, salt, cumin, ginger, and garlic and chop them well.

Usually, the kababs are made at home but they are broken, since we chop all the ingredients, in this way they will not break.

We have to make these kababs about the length of a finger.

Take a medium frying pan, and on low flame, we will start frying them in half a cup of oil.

When they become light brown, they are ready,

Now take them off and keep them aside.

Harees cooking recipe

First, heat the oil pot over medium-high heat and then add onion until it turns light brown. Now add ginger and garlic paste and then add salt to taste. Then add chicken.

Add ginger and garlic paste, salt to taste, cumin seeds, a cup of boiled spinach, yogurt, and garam masala spices. Mix all of them and fry well.

When the oil rises, add the boiled wheat and again fry well.

When the curd water dries, add the fried kababs on low heat for half an hour

Now add green coriander and green mint to garnish it and serve with hot bread or roti.

We can have a few pistachios, cashews, and almonds at the end.
