  1. moderation is the key to self-preservation. when in doubt, opt for less.
  2. invest in people who invest in you, and let go of the rest.
  3. gut feelings are good ones. follow them.
  4. water is wonderful. drink it.
  5. alcohol hurts heads — and productivity. time spent hungover is never time well spent.
  6. social media is exhausting. turn it off.
  7. time moves fast, and you will always wish for more of it. keep moving.
  8. if you’re unhappy, do something about it. the change you choose may not be a perfect fix, but moving yourself in one direction will open more doors than standing still.
  9. sweat kills 99% of all demons. go for a run.
  10. you have one body. take care of it.
  11. you will always have regret. do not let it define you — or hold you back.
  12. good friends are rare gems. keep them safe, and treat them well.
  13. save. budget. spend. money is a balancing act.
  14. be nice to people. how you make others feel is the most lasting impression you can leave on someone.
  15. speak your feelings. they deserve to be heard.
  16. you are capable of whatever you set your mind to achieve. never lose sight of this. complacency is a deep hole to climb out of.
