I really enjoyed reading about your example of college. I am also a first generation college student and my first day here I felt like my life flipped upside down because I did not know what to expect. I agree with you on the fact that college is one of the biggest socialization factor in our lives because for most people that’s the time when their personalities develop and they become the people that they are later on.
