Thank you! It is definitely hard to get accustomed to new traditions to, like you said, “survive”. I wanted to respond to your “old men being ‘given’ young girls to marry” because although it is sadly seen in some societies as ok I do not agree with it but the way that it is perceived in other societies is looked down upon because it is not one of the norms to them. But i agree with you that it is “odd”.
