YogaSutra

“If you can control the rising of the mind into ripples, you will experience Yoga.”….(Yoga Sutra)

According to YogaSutra, Yoga is the path of self-discipline, self-mastery, and self-realization. It makes you understand who you are, how you can make the best use of all the resources you have, and, ultimately, how to live a joyful, and peaceful life.

On this path, you will get the awareness of true meaning of life, how to unclutter your life, and how to attain inner peace. Yogic philosophy can help you provide complete rest to your body and attain a tranquil state of mind, which is necessary for attaining success both in your worldly as well as in your spiritual endeavors.

Self-realization,practically speaking, means the understanding of your mind. The mind is the best tool that nature has given you. By using this tool, you can discover the boundless joy that is buried within us. A happy mind is the source of all healing powers. A person with a happy mind is full of enthusiasm, courage, and self-motivation. Cultivating a joyful mind is the greatest of all spiritual practices.

A quiet mind is the foundation for cultivating a joyful life. Mental quietude depends on one of the greatest virtues: inner purity. The removal of impurities is the way to cultivate inner purity. Ego, anger, jealousy, limitless desires, and greed pollute your mind. Once these impurities take over your life, you begin to behave like animals.

According to YogaSutra, mind is at the center of human existence. Upon knowing the mind, everything is known. Upon gaining access to your own mind, you gain access to everything is known. Upon gaining victory over the mind, you are victorious in every aspect in life. By practicing Yogic philosophy, you can discipline your mind and sharpen your intellect.

“In not only the physical science, but in the real mental silence, the wisdom dawns” ….(Yoga Sutra)
