Disregarding the hubub over Damore’s socio-biological thesis, the true issue is whether Damore has identified a civil rights problem at Google.
How Exactly Do You Define “Liberal?”
Sean Neville

Disregarding that may be difficult. Much of the blowback centers on the question of neuro-divergence between men and women. And Pichar’s remarks in firing Damore confirm that the neuro-divergence argument is at the root of this political contest: “Google CEO Sundar Pichai told employees on Monday that Damore’s memo violated Google’s Code of Conduct “by advancing harmful gender stereotypes in our workplace.”” https://www.wired.com/story/james-damore-google-memo-harvard/

That said, it is unfortunate that this is a political contest and not an opportunity to explore the issue of neuro-divergence. Some scientists support Damore’s general claims. Some studies seem to refute them.

Our concern should be for the truth, not for Who wins.
