After presenting the first look of the first collection to the Wall Street Journal that shows black leather garments, a designer has entered the scene to put the model on the spot. This is Betsy Johnson , a designer, stylist and creative director who, despite her low profile, has worked with brands such as Luis De Javier and Balenciaga , which is one of the Kardashian-Jenners’ favorites. She has even collaborated with her Kim Kardashian ‘s ex-husband , Kanye West , on several projects and recently dressed actress Julia Fox in a leather jacket with a chiseled bib.

This Wednesday, Johnson assured that the youngest daughter of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has copied and used ideas of her authorship in her leather garments without giving her due credit.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the designer came out forcefully, stating that she had emailed Kylie’s team the concepts and designs for her own brand, Products , six months ago.

“INTERESTING CONCEPT KYLIE… INTERESTING,” he wrote in all caps before letting out a sarcastic expression. “Thank you for the joint signature…”

The “Kylie Cosmetics” founder, meanwhile, teamed up with another independent brand, Namilia, for the initial “Khy ” collection that has already been revealed. According to Page Six , sources familiar with the brand say that the businesswoman plans to continue partnering with other designers and emerging brands for future launches. In this regard, an enraged Betsy Johnson accused both the celebrity and the brand, describing the alleged copying of her ideas as a “trash move.”

Johnson continues to attack the socialite through her Instagram stories, where she exposes that many celebrities only sell merchandise in their name, but without a job involved.

“I know who my followers are inside and outside of fashion. And I appreciate them. Do you want to be nauseated by merch from lazy celebrities and copycat models? Be my guests,” she wrote. “We workers do not lose hope, we are here for more than just a collection of clothes and a bag.”

“Stealing from smaller creators is wrong, but when you steal from an extremely beloved fashion girl who works hard in the hardest city to do it… I hope the backlash is quick. “Betsy doesn’t deserve this at all.” wrote a journalist in a message that already has more than 18 thousand likes on ‘X’.

So far, Jenner has ignored the accusations of copying and avoids commenting on the matter.

The “Khy” collection will be released this November 1st. It will include “faux fur pants, coats, tops and base layers” offered in a size range that includes XXS to 4X, priced between $48 and $198. While Travis Scott ‘s ex-partner affirms that the prices will be “affordable,” thousands of users question this through multiple mockery on their social networks.
