50 Claps Feature:
50 claps are the most likes you can give to a post on Medium. You can give 01 to 50 claps to any story you read.
It costs you nothing except ten to fifteen second to give 50 likes to any story you read. 01 is minum number and 50 is maximum number of likes/ claps you can give after reading a story. You can also remain in between 01to 50 wherever you like.
When a thing costs you nothing and it can benefit others, then why you are not giving that thing unhesitatingly to others.
Writers’ Expectations:
One who writes on Medium publish their hard written stories hoping to get maximum claps, reads, and comments. Writing is not an easy job.
If we can support a writer by giving him maximum claps, it should be done unconditionally.
Unique Medium Feature:
Giving 50 claps is a wonderful feature that Medium has introduced to support writers on this platform. No other app has added this feature. On most of the writing apps, you can give just one like to your favorite story.
When Medium has empowered you to give 50 claps, why you are not giving 50 claps to your fellow writers.
Support For One Another:
Let’s promise to give 50 claps to one another. It’s the best, easiest, and cost-free measure to help others get maximum likes.
It’s a bitter reality, everyone can not be a friend of Medium to support writers on Medium as it costs $15 per month. It’s a matter of affordability.
Friend of Medium Feature:
There are many fellow writers who have become friends of Medium by getting subscription for $15 per month. Their objective of getting this status is to support other writers.
Cost Of 50 Claps:
50 claps cost nothing, so everyone can afford it. It only takes a very short time. In this modern, digital era, time has become the most precious commodity for individuals who are always running short of time due to their involvement in side hustles along with day jobs.
Ignorant Of This Rule:
After my first article on this topic, I came to know from the comments of fellow writers that many are ignorant of Medium’s 50 claps feature.

I’m trying my best to spread awareness not only about this rule but also about other relevant features to support one another.

Be a part of my campaign to raise awareness about Medium' rules so that we can give and take maximum support to one another.
Give and Take on Medium:
More importantly, here on Medium you take back immediately what you give others. If you are giving 50 claps, others will also give you the same in return.
There are very few who take more and give less on Medium because the community is very cooperative and supportive here.
It’s very rare when I give less than 50 claps to any story. My objective is to give maximum support to fellow writers. I know it very well that I will get back soon what I’m giving here on Medium.
Some give me 50 claps back by coming to my post. Some others give less claps. But I never mind it. I’m determined to go ahead in my personal style, not affecting by others.
I like and appreciate this feature of 50 claps of Medium. More likes on a story are just clickbaits for readers. The stories with more likes are more appealing. Such stories attract the readers.
For example, if you have 5 readers on your story and every reader gives you 50 claps, your story will have 250 likes. If Medium would not have introduced this rule. Then 5 readers mean a maximum of 5 likes as is the matter on many other writing apps online.
Use this maximum claps feature for the maximum benefit of writers on Medium.
