Thank you for this, and for the incredible work you’ve done in service of the Electors. That the Trump/Putin connection is lost on his supporters because they’re still in campaign fight mode is staggering. They, and even Trump and his own spokespeople, are more interested in parading the win and yelling “crybaby” than in paying attention to the threat we face.
Very interesting. Thanks for your comment — you (and other commenters) are right that we are dealing with a flawed system. My feeling is — at the moment, it’s what we have, and we need to value it while also trying to change the structure.
My point is: good journalism costs money. These are skilled writers, reporters, managers, and others working in newsrooms — you think they should work for free? We need to value that crucial work, and pay for it.
One could also get an education using the library + the Internet. That doesn’t mean we should stop paying teachers.
If you get all of your liberal news filtered through Rush Limbaugh, you’ve just proved my point.
Also, I’m not calling you or those who voted like you misinformed. First of all, Trump voters are a very diverse group, and I wouldn’t lump them together into some sort of stereotype. Second, I’m glad you can identify fake news…
With respect, I must strongly disagree with you. Reading a ton of stuff and having a great command of the material you read is NOT the same as being informed if you’re busy tweaking the dials so you only get the stuff that confirms your beliefs.
I’m in no way calling you ignorant — please know that I am not trying to be…
